We wish to acknowledge the assistance of many individuals and organizations that participated in this evaluation of the Canada-NWT Cooperation Agreement for French and Aboriginal Languages. Representatives from the different language communities – Chipewyan, Cree, Dogrib, French, Inuvialuktun/ Innuinnaqtun, Gwich’in, North Slavey and South Slavey – as well as territorial and federal administrators all contributed to our understanding of the Agreement’s operations, achievements, strengths and weaknesses.
