SUMMARY: This Professional Services Agreement for Special Magistrate Services will provide the City with an additional special magistrate, who will preside over code enforcement hearings and other code enforcement hearings and other applicable matters/hearings (including parking citation hearings) along with the current special magistrates Keith Davis and Myrnabelle Roche. Services will be provided on a rotating basis or when a magistrate is needed for special hearings. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION: Pursuant to section 2-63 of the City’s Code of Ordinances, the City is required to retain one or more special magistrates to preside over code enforcement hearings and other applicable matters.
