This Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) is made this day of ____________ by and between Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (hereinafter called “VT” or "Virginia Tech") and the University of Akron (hereinafter called "UA"; VT and UA hereinafter called “INSTITUTIONS”) for the purposes of participating in the Center for Tire Research (“CENTIRE”) which is defined as all CENTIRE Research Sites funded by the Industry/University Cooperative Research Center Program of the National Science Foundation.
