As you may recall, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health for Substance Abuse Treatment (SAMHSNCSAT) awarded a $750,000 grant to Santa Cruz County Probation Department for a three year period. These grant will be used locally to implement a Motivational Enhancement Treatment and Cognitive Behavioral Treatment (MET-CBT) curriculum, with the goal of reducing substance abuse and recidivism with a population of 70 juvenile offenders, annually.
