In compliance with the Agreement on Debt-for-Development Swap between the Government of the Italian Republic and the Government of the Republic of the Philippines, hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement”, signed in Manila on 29 May, 2012 and entered into force on 24 October 2012, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Italian Republic – Directorate General for Development Cooperation (MAE-DGCS) and the Department of Finance (DOF) of the Government of the Republic of the Philippines have agreed to establish a Counterpart Fund Account – hereinafter called “CPFA” in order to carry out development projects in eligible areas of the Philippines. A call for proposal is therefore launched to fund valuable projects according to the following requirements.
