Science is a hands-on laboratory class. You will be conducting experiments in the labs that may require hazardous chemicals. Safety is the science classroom is the number one priority for students, teachers, and parents. To ensure a safe science classroom, a list of rules has been developed and provided to you in the Student Safety Contract. These rules must be followed at all times. Both you and your parents/guardian must sign the last page of this contract. The signature page must be returned to your science teacher before you can participate in the experiments. The remaining pages are to be kept in your sciences notebook as a constant reminder of the safety rules.
