This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is entered into by and between the County of Orange, acting through its Social Services Agency, hereinafter referred to as “SSA,” and the State of California Department of Rehabilitation, hereinafter referred to as “DOR.” This MOU contains program content and purpose along with specific guidelines for SSA to refer participants under the California Work Opportunities and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKs) Act of 1997 to the DOR for vocational rehabilitation services. Such services are to be provided to CalWORKs Welfare-To-Work (WTW) Participants who meet the guidelines set forth in this MOU.
