The Owner hereby contracts with the Design Professional, a licensed Texas engineer, as an independent contractor. The Design Professional hereby agrees to perform the services in conjunction with the Downtown Storm Sewer Improvements Trunk Line, South Bell, Oak Street Systems, and Hickory Street Driveway Relocation project as described herein and in the Proposal (Exhibits 5 and 6), the General Conditions (Exhibit 4), and other attachments to this Agreement that are referenced in Section 4.
