Dual Enrollment provides students with the opportunity to earn college credit through College of the Siskiyous and high school credit through the student’s high school. Dual Enrollment is an OPTION, not a requirement for specific classes. The following describes important information regarding Dual Enrollment. Please read it carefully, ask for clarification if you have questions or concerns, and lastly, sign and date as requested below. The intent of the COS Dual Enrollment program is to provide educational enrichment opportunities for a limited number of eligible high school students, and also to help ensure a smoother transition from high school to college by providing them with greater exposure to the collegiate atmosphere (California Education Code 48800).
