Administration (FHWA) propose to construct a limited‐access facility between the Route 58/220 By‐pass, on the south side of the City of Martinsville, and the North Carolina state line for a distance of approximately seven (7) miles. The Martinsville‐Southern Connector would accommodate regional and local traffic, as well as address geometric deficiencies and inconsistencies (VDOT Project No. 0220‐044‐052; UPC: 110916; Virginia Department of Historic Resources [DHR] File No. 2019‐0226), hereinafter referred to as “Project”; and
