It is the intent and purpose of the parties hereto, that this Agreement will promote a sound and harmonious relationship, by providing an orderly procedure for the prompt disposition of grievances, in order to avoid any interruption of work or interference with the efficient operation of the Company’s business. Also by setting forth herein the basic agreement covering rates of pay, hours of work and conditions of employment to be observed between the parties.
