Your Western & Central Washington Bargaining Team reached another Tentative Agreement (T/A) with the AGC of Washington for the Area Master Agreement on Wednesday, July 28thth. The committee is comprised of rank- and-file members and NWCU staff. With the second Tentative Agreement failing at 52% "NO" votes by the membership, the parties have agreed and executed a two-week extension through August 13th. The big change from the last T/A to this T/A is the uncertainty we have heard surrounding Wage and Fringe allocations, specifically the paragraph that included the "Distribution of Monies" nestled below the Schedule "A." The union took the feedback from the last ratification vote, and your bargaining team decided not to advance with that new language in the current Tentative Agreement. Many members feel like the distributions set forth in the schedule A were misleading and would be changed at any given time, which was never the intent.
