The General Land Office (“the GLO”), a Texas state agency, and City of Aransas Pass, Texas Identification Number (TIN) 17460000502 (“Subrecipient”), each a “Party” and collectively “the Parties,” enter into this Subrecipient agreement (the “Contract”) under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (“CDBG-DR”) program to provide financial assistance with funds appropriated under the Continuing Appropriations Act, 2018 and Supplemental Appropriations for Disaster Relief Requirements Act, 2017 (Public Law 115-56), enacted on September 8, 2017, to facilitate disaster recovery, restoration, and economic revitalization and to affirmatively further fair housing, in accordance with Executive Order 12892, in areas affected by the Texas Hurricane Harvey (DR-4332), which are Presidentially-declared major disaster areas under Title IV of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. § 5121, et seq.).
