Prior to participation in the WMS Girls Basketball Program each player and parent/guardian must sign and agree to the team contract. This contract is implemented to ensure that all players, parents, and coaches understand the rules, policies, and procedures of the team. The ultimate goal of WMS girl’s basketball is to promote self‐esteem, pride, respect, responsibility, and a strong work ethic among all participants. Also, WMS girl’s basketball is utilized as a feeder to the high school program. Therefore, the focus is not on wins and losses but on instructing the vital skills necessary for competition at a higher level. Please read and discuss the following information with your child before signing the contract.
