This Settlement and Release Agreement (“Agreement,” “Settlement” or “Settlement Agreement”) is entered into by and between American Airlines, Inc. (“Defendant”) and Marleni Curiel Fregoso both individually and on behalf of the Settlement Class (“Plaintiff”), in the case of Fregoso vs. American Airlines, Inc., Case No. 2017-CH-15328, currently pending in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois (the “Litigation”). Defendant and Plaintiff are each referred to as a “Party” and are collectively referred to as the “Parties.”
