Many students bring personally owned electronic devices (PODs) to school. St. Rose of Lima School recognizes that these devices can enhance learning when used responsibly. For example, students may use a calendar, calculator or a dictionary, as well as countless other useful applications in the course of their studies. The intent of this document is to monitor the use of personally owned devices at St. Rose of Lima to ensure that students can focus on school work. Teachers will use their discretion to monitor and permit the use of PODs in their classrooms to ensure that devices are used responsibly.
