This Agreement establishes the terms and conditions under which FCIC will provide subsidy and reinsurance on eligible livestock price insurance contracts sold or reinsured by the above named insurance company, for the above referenced reinsurance year. This Agreement is authorized by the Act and regulations promulgated thereunder codified in 7 C.F.R. chapter IV. Such regulations are incorporated into this Agreement by reference. The provisions of this Agreement that are inconsistent with provisions of State or local law or regulation will supersede such law or regulation to the extent of the inconsistency. This is a cooperative financial assistance agreement between FCIC and the Company to deliver eligible livestock price insurance contracts under the authority of the Act. For the purposes of this Agreement, use of the plural form of a word includes the singular and use of the singular form of a word includes the plural unless the context indicates otherwise.
