Whereas the parties agree that it is mutually beneficial and desirable to arrange and maintain fair and equitable earnings, labour standards, wage rates and conditions to obtain efficient operations with a trained, service oriented work force, to protect and maintain safety and to provide a consistent process for the adjustment of disputes which may arise between the parties hereto. Therefore the Company and the Union agree as follows:
