AGREEMENT ESTABLISHING AN ALLIANCE BETWEENAgreement • October 22nd, 2015
The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) and Manufacturing Technology Mutual Insurance Company (MTMIC) recognize the value of establishing a collaborative relationship to foster safer and more healthful Michigan workplaces. To that end, MIOSHA and MTMIC hereby form an Alliance to provide MTMIC members and others with information, guidance, and access to training resources that will help them protect the health and safety of workers, particularly by reducing and preventing exposure to workplace hazards that occur in MTMIC member industries, and understand the rights of workers and the responsibilities of employers under the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Act (MIOSH Act). In developing this Alliance, MIOSHA and MTMIC recognize that MIOSHA’s Consultation, Education and Training (CET) Division is an integral part of this effort.
