This agreement shall be read and interpreted in conjunction with CCF Award (National Building & Construction Industry Award) for trade employees, as varied from time to time and any awards made in succession thereof but only to the extent that the provisions in any of these awards are not contrary to the National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry and any Guidelines made under the Code. Clauses in the awards which are non- allowable matters under the Workplace Relations Act 1996, shall have no effect. Where the provisions of the awards are inconsistent with the provisions of this agreement, the provisions of this agreement shall apply to the extent of any inconsistencies.
