COLLABORATIVE PROJECT AGREEMENT BETWEENCollaborative Project Agreement • February 13th, 2024
ICFRE-Institute of Forest Genetics and Tree Breeding, Coimbatore and Andhra Paper Mill (APL), Rajahmundry have signed agreement today (12.02.2024) for implementing a collaborative project to increase wood production in the catchment area of the Mill in Andhra Pradesh. The project period is five years with a budget of Rs.54.97 lakhs. This project is a continuation of a similar project implemented during 2018-2023 through which the high- yielding clones of Casuarina and Eucalyptus have been deployed in the farmlands of Andhra Pradesh. An inter-disciplinary team involving Scientists of Genetics and Breeding, Silviculture and Plant Protection will be implementing the project in association with the farm forestry wing of APL.
