Recalling 31 C/Resolution 18 whereby the UNESCO General Conference approved, in 2001, the establishment in Egypt of the Regional Centre for Training and Water Studies of Arid and Semi-Arid Zones as a Centre under the auspices of UNESCO (category 2) and invited the Director-General to conclude the corresponding agreement between UNESCO and the Government;
