Each party to this Agreement may be referred to individually as a “Party” and together as the “Parties.” This Agreement sets out the terms and conditions governing the performance and funding of the Project (as defined herein). It also reflects the Parties’ mutual commitment to develop a safe and effective vaccine against SARS-CoV-2, to test and obtain regulatory approval for the vaccine as rapidly as possible, consistent with patient safety and achieving vaccine quality, and to ensure the manufacture and distribution of sufficient quantities of the vaccine to meet global demand at affordable prices in the country of use.
