The Town of Devon undertakes Roadway Sanding and Snow Clearing within its corporate limits as per Policy. (#4305) This contracted service agreement is to provide safe transportation of snow from streets and public parking lots to a Town yard site currently located 1 (one) kilometer west of Highway 60 on Miquelon Avenue West. The loading of contracted trucks is undertaken by Town owned municipal snow blower and / or front end loading equipment. Although actual amounts vary from year to year, the estimated volume of material that has been moved based on the previous 5 year average, could take over 900 truck hours. The Town makes no guarantee of the value or volume of work to be assigned to the successful proponent. Snow management at the dump site will be undertaken by contracted dozer.
