The City maintains a contractual agreement with Bridgette McInally d/b/a Disaster Cost Recovery Services to maximize the federal reimbursement of City expenses incurred as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2017 Thomas Fire, and 2023 Severe Winter Storm disasters for an amount not to exceed $119,040. With multiple disasters, the original estimate of time to complete work with the Federal Disaster Management Agency has to be adjusted. Staff sees a necessity to extend the term of the contract to June 30, 2025, and increase compensation by $100,000.
