The Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Information Request Form (IRF) is the means of conveying technical data for your organization to HUD prior to connecting to HUD’s EDI Gateway. A completed EDI IRF is required before an EDI X12 transaction set can be transmitted to the Gateway. Separate forms must be filled out for each Value Added Network (VAN) or Service Bureau used.
