This Recommended Settlement Agreement is presented by Roseburg Forest Products (“Roseburg” or the “Employer”) to the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, Local Union No. 2949 and 2784 (“Union”), reflecting all Economic and Operational Issues as agreed to between the parties on October 8, 2020. This Recommended Settlement Agreement is contingent upon and hereby incorporates the “tentative agreements” specified in the Operational Issues referenced below, as presented by Roseburg on October 8, 2020. Based on the terms presented in this proposal, the UBC Union Negotiating Committee, representing employees covered by the two locals referenced, recommends full and complete agreement to the terms herein. This Agreement is proposed and recommended as a complete package, thereby contingent on ratification of the entire package as presented in this document.
