Abstract The term “sustainability” covers the totality of all ecological, economic and social effects emanating from an enterprise. It is the task of Sustainability Management to record these effects and steer them in such a way that their effects will be socially acceptable over the long-term. WAG is fully aware of its special responsibility in these concerns and acts accordingly.For these reasons, sustainability is also a key issue in purchasing. This Sustainability Agreement describes the requirements and fundamentals demanded by WAG from its suppliers of products and services in terms of responsibility for mankind and the environment.
