The Board is asked to consider renewal of the education services agreement with the Nebraska Department of Education for FY 2022 at the rate of $114,482 per Nebraska student ($61,906 for academic and related program services and $52,576 for residential services when applicable). The proposed rates reflect the average cost per student for academic and residential services. After freezing rates for Nebraska students for the current year, the proposed FY 2022 rates are a combined 11.6% higher than the current year. Last year, both parties provided an intent notice to renew this agreement for FY 2022.
