THE CARRIER is an international shipping company, whose registered office is in Hamburg, Germany. The COMPANY is a frequent shipper with THE CARRIER. THE CARRIER regularly issues and executes Bills of Lading (hereinafter “Bs/L”) in favor of THE COMPANY. To accelerate this procedure THE CARRIER and THE COMPANY conclude this agreement (hereinafter: Agreement). THE CARRIER and THE COMPANY intend to transmit the Bs/L details issued by THE CARRIER by electronic means to THE COMPANY and THE COMPANY will then, in accordance with this Agreement, print the transmitted Bs/L on entrusted original Bs/L paperbound forms. Subsequently THE COMPANY will, in accordance with this Agreement, sign the original Bs/L for and on behalf of THE CARRIER.
