NONREIMBURSABLE SPACE ACT AGREEMENT BETWEENNonreimbursable Space Act Agreement • June 27th, 2022
This Agreement shall be for the purpose of enabling NASA GRC and UA to collaborate to develop and validate models of bird strike impact on composite rotorcraft structures. NASA will provide UA with experimental data and test conditions. UA will develop models to simulate the tests and provide results to NASA. No NASA facilities or equipment are required. The Partnership will benefit NASA GRC because it may help a NASA project to meet Revolutionary Vertical Lift Technology (RVLT) goals of understanding the structural requirements for bird strike impact safety. It will benefit Partner by providing desired experience in practical problems encountered by the aerospace industry.
