Master Agreements for materials and data are agreements between UC Berkeley and a material or data provider that define the standard terms and conditions that will govern a set of projects. Sometimes, a Master Agreement defines the terms for the use, storage, and disposal requirements for specific research materials (such as cell lines) or for one or more specific data sets, and PIs will be granted access to the materials or data for their individual projects.
