In article of agreement made and entered into between Jacob P. Alford of the first part and Granville C. Alford, Peyton H. Alford, Jesse R. Alford, John Q. Alford, George M. Alford and Madison D. Alford of the second part: all of the state of Kentucky, Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the party of the first part taking care of and supporting Nancy Alford our Mother in a decent and becoming manner agreeably to her circumstances and condition in life so long as she lives we the party of the Second part agree and bind ourselves to convey at the death of our said Mother our entire interest in a tract of land lying in Lincoln County Kentucky on the waters of Green River and containing two hundred and fifty acres more or less; it being the tract of land on which our Father John Alford lived at the time of his death, and which was willed to our Mother during her life remainder to the children of the said John & Nancy Alford
