Alstom to build first GT26-based combined-cycle power plant in TunisiaJuly 1st, 2008
Alstom has been awarded a turnkey contract, worth approximately €335 million, by Société Tunisienne de l’Electricité et du Gaz (STEG) * for the construction of a 400 MW combined-cycle power plant. The power plant will be constructed at Ghannouch, in the Gabes region, in southern Tunisia. An additional contract includes a 12-year operation support and maintenance agreement.
