The Board and Association recognize their mutual obligations pursuant to ACT 379 of the Public Acts of 1965, as amended as of the ratification and execution of this agreement, to bargain collectively with respect to hours, wages and terms and conditions of employment. Both parties have entered into and conducted extended and good faith negotiations in which each party has had the right and opportunity to make demands and proposals with regard to all bargainable subjects. Agreement has been reached between the parties hereto including formal ratification of the terms hereof by the governing body of the Board and by the employees represented by the Association.
