The general purpose of this Collective Agreement is to promote cooperation, and a positive and respectful relationship, to recognize mutual interests, to establish and maintain collective bargaining relations between the Employer and its employees and to provide orderly procedure for the prompt and equitable disposition of grievances, and for the maintenance of mutually satisfactory hours of work, wages, and working conditions in the workplace.
