Recreation License Agreement with the City of Lauderdale Lakes
Recreation License Agreement • November 21st, 2022

For informational purposes, a Recreation License Agreement (RLA) is a long-term agreement between the School Board of Broward County, Florida (SBBC), and another party (usually a local government), in which the RLA allows either party to lease the other party’s outdoor facility, such as the recreational grounds/amenities. Typically, the lease and use of SBBC’s facilities are slated to occur during the times SBBC schools are officially closed (after school hours, weekends, and SBBC recognized holidays). Additionally, given that the lease of each facility is geared towards strengthening partnerships between the SBBC and the other party, the annual cost to lease each facility is one ($1.00) dollar annually.
