Agreement dated, February 28, 2007, entered into between INTERNATIONAL BANK FOR RECONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT (“IBRD”), INTERNATIONAL BANK FOR RECONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT (acting as an Implementing Agency of the Global Environment Facility) (“the Implementing Agency”) hereinafter IBRD and the Implementing Agency called “the Bank”, and GUANGXI ZHUANG AUTONOMOUS REGION (“Project Implementing Entity”) (“Project Agreement”) in connection with (a) the Loan Agreement of same date between PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA (“Borrower”) and the IBRD (“Loan Agreement”); and (b) the Global Environment Facility Trust Fund Grant Agreement of the same date between the PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA (“Recipient”) and the Implementing Agency (“GEF Trust Fund Grant Agreement”). The Bank and the Project Implementing Entity hereby agree as follows:
