This Memorandum of Understanding or "MOU", hereinafter referred to as "the Agreement" or “Collective Bargaining Unit”, entered into by the City of Lincoln, hereinafter referred to as "the City", and the Lincoln Police and Fire Mid-Manage- ment/Supervisory Group, hereinafter referred to as the "LPFMM" or “Union”, pur- suant to section 3500 et seq. of the Government Code of the State of California has as its purpose the establishment of an equitable and peaceful procedure for the resolution of differences and the establishment of rates of pay, hours of work and other terms and conditions of employment for employees in the LPFMM, as provided in this Agreement.
