Volunteers, children and Parent/Guardian(s) are required to provide personal information about themselves and their families in the written application. Additional information is gathered during confidential interviews with BBBSBA staff. Volunteers must supply personal references and submit to a criminal background check, DMV check, and supply other information as requested by BBBSBA staff. Information on children may be gathered from schools, teachers, counselors, therapists, juvenile authorities, and other outside agencies.
