Student’s interest in pursuing rigorous course work by enrolling in Advanced Placement (AP) courses is commendable. The content of the AP Program is mandated by the College Board and is implemented internationally. The focus of each course is the Advanced Placement Examination, which is given one time, on a specific day, during the month of May. Teachers of Advanced Placement courses are bound by the structure and standards set forth by the College Board and will have expectations for student performance in line with these standards.
