THIS AGREEMENT (agreement) is made this day of , 2023 by and between the City of Alexandria, a Municipal Corporation of Virginia (“City”), the Alexandria Redevelopment and Housing Authority, a political subdivision of the Commonwealth of Virginia (“ARHA”), and the Virginia State Historic Preservation Office (“SHPO”), which in Virginia is the Virginia Department of Historic Resources (DHR), (collectively “Signatories”), pursuant to Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), 54 United States Code (U.S.C.) § 306108, and its implementing regulations 36 Code of Federal Regulations (C.F.R.) Part 800 for the purposes herein set forth.
