This Agreement is entered into between the City of Clearwater, Florida, hereinafter referred to as the "City" and the Florida State Lodge of the Fraternal Order of Police, Clearwater Supervisors bargaining unit, hereinafter referred to as the "Union." It is the intent and purpose of this Agreement to assure sound and mutually beneficial working and economic relationships between the parties hereto, to provide an orderly and peaceful means of resolving any misunderstandings or differences which may arise, and to set forth herein the full agreements between the parties concerning rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other terms and conditions of employment. It is understood that the City is engaged in furnishing essential public services which vitally affect the health, safety, comfort and general well being of the public and both parties hereto recognize the need for continuous and reliable service to the public.
