WHEREAS, Sponsor, a research-driven pharmaceutical company, is sponsoring and conducting a clinical trial of BI 655064 (“Investigational Product”) according to the Clinical Trial Protocol for BI Trial No. 1293.10 including all documents attached thereto and referenced therein (“Protocol”) entitled “A double- blind, randomised, placebo-controlled trial evaluating the effect of BI 655064 administered as sub-cutaneous injections, on renal response after one year treatment in patients with lupus nephritis“ as amended (“Trial”), incorporated herein by reference and provided to Institution and/or Investigator by the Sponsor under separate cover in the regulatory document package; and
