This Amendment No. 1 (this “Amendment”) is effective on October 4, 2006 (the “Amendment Effective Date”), by and between Verizon North Inc. and Verizon South Inc., Wisconsin corporations with offices at 8001 West Jefferson Boulevard, Fort Wayne, IN 46804 (“Verizon”), and Charter Fiberlink-Illinois, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company with offices at 12405 Powerscourt Drive, St. Louis, MO 63131 (“Charter”). Verizon and Charter may hereinafter be referred to, each individually, as a "Party," and, collectively, as the "Parties". This Amendment covers services in Verizon’s service territory in the State of Illinois (the “State”).
