This Agreement is made on this ___ day of February, 2014 between [insert name of firm 1] (“Firm 1”), located at ______, and [insert firm name] (“Firm 2”), located at __________ to serve as Co-Counsel representing [CLIENT NAMES] (collectively referred to as “the Clients”) in drafting and filing affirmative asylum applications with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (“USCIS”) of the Department of Homeland Security (“DHS”). This Co-Counsel Agreement sets forth the duties and obligations regarding the provision of legal services to the Clients who have retained Firm 1 and Firm 2 in connection with these matters. This Co-Counsel Agreement applies to the legal matters for which Firm 1 and Firm 2 have been specifically retained by the Clients as stated in the attached engagement letters that the Clients have signed, or will sign, with Firm 1 and Firm 2, respectively, to effectuate such representation.
