Universities in the Netherlands have a so-called Open Choice agreement with Springer. This agreement stipulates that authors working with Dutch universities do not need to pay for publishing articles Open Access. Authors are advised to make use of this opportunity offered by Springer to publish open access! If you are author of a Springer article, and are affiliated with a Dutch University, you will NOT receive an invoice for publishing open access with Springer in 2010.
