Non-disclosure agreements and non-competing agreements are legal instruments that are considered restrictive agreements that limit what a person can say or do under certain scenarios. The statute of limitations is designed to prevent employees or individuals associated with the company from disclosing certain information about that company to competitors or leaving the company and doing business in direct competition with it.
