This Umbrella Agreement shall be for the purpose of enabling ULRI to utilize the services of NASA's Energy Systems Test Area (ESTA) on a reimbursable basis for engineering analysis and testing in support of ULRI's program for the research and testing of spaceflight quality lithium- ion battery cells in furtherance of ULRI’s 501(c)(3) mission. The activities conducted under this Umbrella Agreement will also help to sustain NASA JSC's Li-ion battery analysis and testing skills. JSC is currently the NASA Center of Excellence for Safe Human Rated Batteries.
