The Convention between the Government of the Republic of the Philippines and the Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income was signed in Brasilia, Brazil on September 29, 1983. It entered into force on August 20, 1991, upon the exchange of the relevant instruments of ratification in Manila on that date. Its provisions on taxes apply on income derived or which accrued beginning January 1, 1992.
